Marin Trail Review
There’s no getting away from it, we may as well address it right here at the beginning. The Marin trail kicks off with the mother of all climbs. There’s a short single-track trail through the forest that leads from the car park. Then, without warning, it starts, the climb. And it goes on and on. Definitely a good way to get heart, lungs and legs warmed up. But be warned, make sure you have the fitness to take on this climb.
The good news is that once conquered, you are free to enjoy the rest of the Marin trail. However, don’t be fooled into to thinking that the hard work is over once the initial climb is achieved. Whilst the rest of the route is still challenging, it is manageable and very enjoyable.
The Marin trail is a trail for mountain bikers who are fit and like a challenge. It is not one for beginners though.
