Evans Cycles has a long history in the bike world and is constantly expanding. Their first bike shop was in SE London around 1925. The shop won a cycle award in its first few years and has built upon that reputation ever since. Joseph Smith, purchased the company in the 1950s and managed it for 20 years before handing it over to his son, Gary Smith, in the 1970s.
